We are always accepting new and gently used items.
We sell the items we receive. 90 cents of every dollar made from the sale of each donated item will go toward a charitable organization or fundraising event in the community... Toronto, and the Greater Toronto Area.
We will also give to families in need. We can give them gift cards and other things to help them through difficult situations.
We want to do more than what others are doing. By getting everyone involved and working together, we can get things done and help as much as possible.
It's hard asking for money. However, having people give in other ways and raising the funds necessary, we can all feel we did our part.
Also, when people are buying and knowing the money from the donated item will go back to the community... again, everyone is happy. Plus, a lot of this could've ended up in a landfill. We are also helping the environment.
The items which are donated for selling for charitable organizations and fundraising events will be labelled as that. Also, as we get more items.. We can have a special social media group or website which people can pick and choose what they want and know where the money is going.
We do this all year. Not just for the Christmas and holiday seasons. People always need help. Charitable organizations always need money for research and development and maintaining equipment and updating things they need.
